The Historic Preservation/Architecture Review Committee (HPARC) is currently seeking interested individuals to serve.  If you are interested, please email HPARC@dignowityhill.org.

The HPARC chair is selected by the President and then presented to the Board for vote. The HPARC including Chair shall be comprised of members and advocates for the historic district designation, its benefits and responsibilities.

We serve by regularly reviewing and discussing cases scheduled to be heard at the CoSA Office of Historic Preservation’s regularly scheduled HDRC hearing. Our focus are properties within the designated Dignowity Hill Historic District as they pertain to the City’s Historic Preservation Ordinances and the OHP’s Historic Preservation Guidelines.

Please note: the comments and positions issued by the HPARC or DHNA are those only of the organization and do not preclude individuals, residents and property owners from making their own public statement in support, opposition or as neutral on any project on the HDRC agenda. If you wish to make public comments on your own, we encourage you to do so!

The HPARC meets the Monday prior to the scheduled HDRC Hearing.  Currently, these meetings are held virtually.  If you are interested in joining this committee, please email HPARC@DignowityHill.org.
